About Jan H Jansen

Jan H. Jansen (1955) holds state degrees in Economics and Statistics (MO KX & MO Q; equivalent to M.Ed) since 1978; during his professional career he had several updates in Finance at the London School of Economics and in Business Administration at the University of Hertfordshire. He started (1978) his teaching career at a grammar school (Stedelijk Gymnasium Arnhem) and continued (1985) to become a senior lecturer at Arnhem Business School (faculty of HAN University of Applied Sciences) in subjects like: Economics, Finance and Management Accounting; lecturing as well abroad (Handelshochschule Leipzig, University of Aruba, University of Westminster (London), Plekhanov Institute (Moscow), Chelyabinsk State University, FH Gelsenkirchen-Bocholt, FHTW Dresden, IUT Vesoul, FH Wildau and Duy Tan University - Da Nang). Since 2001 he also joined the research group of Logistics & Alliances of HAN University of Applied Sciences of Professor Stef Weijers. From November 2015 he is co-ordinator of the study programme: M.Ed of teacher Economics at HAN Master School (HMP). Research topics: • Supply Chain Finance • Integrated Exchange Rate Model • Sustainable Investment Models (incl. new business models) • Entrepreneurship (incl. Business Plans) o Region Chelyabinsk (Russia) in co-operation with Chelyabinsk State University o Da Nang (Vietnam) in co-operation with Duy Tan University of Da Nang and PUM (Netherlands) • Chair of Logistics & Alliances at HAN University o Business Performance tools o Activity Based Costing in Logistics o Sustainability in Logistics (SILI index) • Total Quality (EFQM model) o Region Chelyabinsk (Russia) in co-operation with Chelyabinsk State University o New business models Mr Jansen is participant in several international networks of higher education (Canada, UK, France, Germany, Russia and Vietnam) and leading editor of EFLE website.
